2002 - Poprzednia płyta Moby'ego, "Play", znalazła osiem milionów nabywców na całym świecie. Taka liczba zobowiązuje... Nowy longplay Richarda Melville'a Halla, "18", ukazał się więc dopiero po trzech latach przerwy. Artysta sam wyprodukował najświeższe dzieło, zagrał też na wszystkich instrumentach. Mimo to na albumie roi się od słynnych gości, których Moby zaprosił do studia. Na "18" można więc posłuchać choćby Sinead O'Connor, Angie Stone czy MC Lyte.
